Liberty Theater Workshop
Presents
A Christmas Carol
November 2025
Liberty Theater Workshop is excited to bring to you A Christmas Carol this November! "A Christmas Carol" is a stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic tale about transformation, compassion, and the true meaning of Christmas. The story follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter and miserly old man who hates Christmas and lives a lonely, joyless life focused only on money. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him to change his ways before it’s too late.
That night, Scrooge is visited by three mysterious spirits: the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. Each spirit takes him on a journey through time, revealing key moments from his life, the struggles and joys of those around him, and a chilling look at what could lie ahead if he doesn’t change.
Through these encounters, Scrooge is forced to confront the impact of his actions and attitudes. The play explores themes of generosity, regret, and the possibility of redemption, leaving the audience to wonder whether Scrooge will choose a new path—or remain stuck in his old ways.

Liberty Theater Workshop
Presents
The Addams Family
March 12-15th 2026
Liberty Theater Workshop is proud to present to you The Addams Family this spring a musical comedy (music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice) based on Charles Addams’ famous cartoon characters. Unlike the TV and film versions, the musical presents an original story. The plot centers on Wednesday Addams, now a young woman, who has fallen in love with a “normal” boy named Lucas Beineke. She confides in her father, Gomez, but begs him not to tell Morticia. This secret sets off a chain of tension in the household, especially when the Beinekes come to dinner. The Addams family’s spooky, eccentric lifestyle clashes with Lucas’s uptight parents, leading to comedic chaos, misunderstandings, and revelations. Throughout the evening, family members wrestle with love, honesty, and acceptance: Gomez struggles with keeping Wednesday’s secret from Morticia, Pugsley fears losing his sister’s attention, and Morticia questions her marriage and aging. Ultimately, both families learn that love and truth matter more than appearances or control. The show combines macabre humor, quirky characters, and heartfelt themes, celebrating the Addamses’ motto of embracing what makes each person unique.
