On the passenger list is Reno Sweeney: a popular nightclub singer and former evangelist, her pal Billy Crocker: a lovelorn Wall Street broker who has stowed away on the ship to try to win over his beloved Hope Harcourt (a debutante who is engaged to another passenger, Lord Evelyn Oakleigh), and a second-rate conman, “Moonface Martin.” With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors, and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Moonface join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart. This hilarious musical romp across the Atlantic features a joyful Cole Porter score, including “De-Lovely,” “I Get A Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” and the show-stopping title number “Anything Goes.”
